Walima Photography New Jersey
Faisal and Samia had their walima at Shahnawaz Palace. Space was limited but I managed to do a photo session for the bride and groom before most of the guests arrived. The indoor light was not that great and I did not want to use direct flash for the photo session. I had strobes, diffusers and reflector and quickly set up a makeshift studio to create the nice light I needed for the bridal portraits. I wish I had more time. The guests started arriving and needed to be greeted by the couple and I needed to get the equipment out of way. However, I got lots of fine candid shots of the guests, especially of the cousins, brothers and sisters. All the family and friends who were invited came to the reception to enjoy as much as they could. I did not mind the fact that I kept shooting well beyond the stipulated time because I was enjoying myself so much taking their pictures.
