Swap The Biz Networking Group Holiday Party 2015
Swap the Biz Networking Group Holiday Party was at Tui Lifestyle in Soho. Swap the Biz is a high-end networking group that is growing fast in New Jersey and metro New York area. Scott and Debbie Eisenberg takes good care of the members and other attendees. We had magic show, comedian and DJ to liven up the evening, to help people get into the holiday mood. There were hor d’oeuvres , wine and vodka testing to keep the guests satiated. And chair massage to help them relax.
I felt good to meet so many entrepreneurial people during the evening. There was a real positive vibe going on. It is true that people like to do business with people they like. To that end, Swap the Biz tries to create an environment that helps that friendship to develop. I was surprised to notice they have an impressive roster or sponsors. There was the step and repeat with red carpet with all the sponsors’ names and people had a lot of fun getting photographed there. The showroom has high ceilings but there was plenty of ambient lighting, so I was not able to shoot pointing my flash up and without worrying about not having enough ceiling bounce.
I met a few networking, marketing and social media specialists like Joan of Joan Pelzar Media, Angela of AMF Direct, Bella of Bella Networking Events, Kris of Asteria Business Development, Sheena of Emerge 212 and Lisa of EventsNY. There were many other special people that I didn’t have the opportunity to get introduced and hopefully we will do that at a future event.
At a setting like this, there is a lot of opportunities for candid shots, and I really like doing that, more than any posed shot. I was happy to come back with a few really nice candid shots that you can see in the album below.
