Food Truck Birthday Party Livingston, NJ
I was referred by Beth Fink Events to photograph a surprise 70th birthday party. Beth Fink is a great event planner but I had no idea how great the party was going to be. The party was at a private residence with backyard for entertaining people and about 90 guests at the party had a wonderful time through the evening.
The guest of honor arrived a few minutes after I arrived and it was a genuine surprise for her. I took a few shots before they got into the beautiful backyard. Soon after the guests started arriving and almost all had no idea what the event was about until they met the guest of honor. This surprise created many opportunities for candid shots as everyone greeted each other . It was beautiful evening and with the food trucks and the set up in the backyard it turned out to be a unique party. I had no idea for a party like this and of course credit goes to Beth for making it happen. I enjoy photographing people and so a party like this worked out great for me.
But the best part of the party was the theme- “Keep on Trucking”. There were 3 food trucks parked on the driveway when I arrived and one more arrived later. (Angry Crab, Callahan’s Hot Dogs, Lexylicious, Waffles and Dinges) There was so much food and so many different kinds to keep the guests entertained. By the pool there was the bar and the appetizer table where mozzarella was being made fresh! There were special T-shirts and napkins for the occasion. I don’t know if there was anything more possible to complete the event.
As everyone had their fill, they assembled indoors for songs with piano. The singing was beautiful and I wish I could have stayed longer.
